I’d like to thank Mike and the Regency West team for the beautiful custom home they helped create for our young family on the shore of Lake Sammamish. Mike was motivated from the beginning to help us and reached out proactively shortly after we bought the property. His eagerness and thorough understanding of our property stood in stark contrast to the ambivalence of several of the alternative contractors we talked to. The construction market is tight and contractors are in short supply but Mike and his team still worked hard to demonstrate his team was the right one for our property. Once the project began several friends in the home building industry toured the property and commented on the quality of the framing and construction. As with any custom build, there were some changes and problems to solve along the way. Mike stayed positive and consistently worked towards getting us the result we wanted often improving on our initial ideas. The team demonstrated attention to detail and pride in work that gives me great confidence in the home. I happened to visit the site while the finish carpenter was installing several cantilevered shelves in my office. The wall backing and support were expertly installed and not something I would have ever seen in the finished home and was just a testament to the quality of the build. Since the home was completed Mike and his team have been there to handle any issues we have had down to the smallest detail. This has been particularly reassuring given the significant expense of a new custom luxury home. It has been a few months now, and I still feel Regency is only a phone call away should we have anything come up. Since we moved in, every week, I have wanted to send you a thank you letter. We love our house. We thought we loved it when we moved in, but it continues to grow. I don't think it is normal for people to think about how much they love their house every day, but we do. Even a year later, we continue to find things you built into this house that cause us to marvel. You truly went the extra mile when you built this house. We first want to commend Regency West on the quality of the construction of our home as well as the quality of the interior. Having gone through the building process once already, we are very familiar with “acceptable” construction and we feel you surpassed that in the materials and workmanship provided. Regency West has also been wonderful in following up with any issues we have had (which are minor) and correcting them right away. That is very important to us as we are well aware of the fact that many builders will pretty much disappear once they get their check.
